If you receive an OASI/DI pension, you are also entitled to benefits for children if:
- Your child is under 18, or
- Your child is aged between 18 and 25 and in full-time education. In this case, you are required to provide regular proof of their study or apprenticeship.
Under certain circumstances, you may also be entitled to benefits for foster children in your care.
If you choose to bring forward your old-age pension, you are not entitled to benefits for children during the period of early retirement.
If you defer payment of your old-age pension, you also defer payment of any benefits for children.
