These benefits are not available to Swiss nationals.
Reimbursements of contributions
These are intended for nationals of a country with which Switzerland:
- has not concluded a social security agreement
- has concluded a social security agreement that provides for this type of benefit
Lump-sum/capitalised benefits
These are granted, under certain conditions, to nationals of countries with which Switzerland has concluded a social security agreement that provides for this type of benefit.
Türkiye – Transfer of contributions
Only Turkish nationals may request the transfer of OASI contributions to Turkish insurance schemes.
Special cases
Some social security agreements allow their citizens to choose between the payment of:
- a pension
- a lump-sum/capitalised benefit
- the reimbursement of contributions
