Information on the automatic termination of membership and resignation from the voluntary OASI/DI scheme
Termination of membership
Membership of the voluntary OASI/DI ends automatically as soon as you:
- take up residence in Switzerland: Returning to Switzerland
- take up residence in an EU/EFTA country: Announcing a change
- reach the reference/retirement age in Switzerland: Old-age pension
In the above cases, it is not necessary to resign from the voluntary OASI/DI scheme.
Important !
- Your contributions are due until the end of your membership
- Any DI rehabilitation measures which have been granted to you, will also come to an end
- DI rehabilitation measures for minors continue under the condition that one of the parents are subject to either the compulsory OASI/DI/EO or the voluntary OASI/DI scheme.
