The income, the contribution periods as well as the assistance bonuses, on which the calculation of an old-age and survivors’ insurance or disability insurance pension is based, are recorded on the individual account (IA).
Should contribution years be missing (gaps), the benefit from the insurance is generally reduced.
Every insured person has an IA open in their name with each of the OASI compensation Offices where an account has been recorded.
No account statement will be generated for insured persons, who have reached the ordinary retirement age and receive a pension communicated by a decision in force.
The account statement is free of charge.
We draw your attention to the fact that the statement of account does not show this year’s income. In accordance with the provisions applicable, contributions for any given calendar year are calculated and recorded by 31st October of the following year at the latest.
In order to obtain an account statement, please read the following instructions:
- Include a copy of the insured person’s valid proof of identity.
- A power of attorney is necessary if the request concerns a third party.
The account statement will be sent to you at the given address by post within 60 days of receipt. Should you not receive it, please write to email@example.com with your OASI number in the subject line of your e-mail.
Please note that any request without a copy of your valid proof of identity will be sent back and will not be processed.
