The fight against insurance fraud is one of the strategic priorities of the SCO and is part of its overriding goals.
This policy materializes in particular in the application of the following principles:
- taking a particularly firm stance towards insured persons who obtain or try to obtain benefits unduly;
- conducting a preventive policy with regard to fraud;
- making sure that equity is respected between insured persons thereby guaranteeing community trust in the functioning of social insurances;
- carrying out all necessary investigations in case of fraud while respecting the legal framework and the guidelines of the supervisory authority.
