This page is intended for persons residing in Switzerland who wish to apply for a foreign pension. The procedures vary depending on the country concerned.
A person residing in Switzerland and insured in many EU or EFTA countries receives a partial pension of each country where he/she was insured. The sum of each pension is calculated according to the insurance period fulfilled in each country.
You should apply for an old-age pension at the competent cantonal or professional compensation office in Switzerland to assert your right to a benefit of one of the EU or EFTA countries.
This office is also competent to draw fit European forms up and forward the required documents to the SCO in Geneva. Then the SCO will forward this application to the social insurance agency of the UE or EFTA country in which you have contributed.
If you were insured in one of these following countries: Albania, Brazil, Canada. Quebec, Chile, China, USA, Israel, Japan, North Macedonia, San Marino, Türkiye, Philippines, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, India, South Korea, Tunisia, Uruguay, United Kingdom or Australia, please fill out the form below and specify the concerned country and the kind of benefit.
You may also contact the SCO in Geneva which will forward to you the fit forms and send them duly fulfilled to the social insurance agency of the concerned country.
