Resignation from the voluntary OASI/DI scheme
You are a member of the voluntary OASI/DI scheme with the Swiss Compensation Office and wish to resign your membership.
In the following cases, voluntary OASI/DI membership ceases automatically and you do not need to resign:
- you have returned to Switzerland: Returning to Switzerland
- you have moved to an EU/EFTA member state: Announcing a change
- you have reached the reference/retirement age in Switzerland: Old-age pension
However, if your place of residence remains abroad and outside the UE/EFTA, you can resign your voluntary OASI/DI membership at the end of a quarter by submitting a resignation form.
Entitlement to old-age and survivors’ pension based on the contributions paid remains unaffected.
